Recently, the State Intellectual Property Office issued an announcement that it will start the patent agent qualification examination forecast at 0:00 on June 28.
It is reported that the registration process for this year's exam is divided into three steps: forecast name, qualification review, and payment confirmation. Applicants should report their names through the registration system from 0:00 on June 28th to 24:00 on July 23rd, 2021, and no re-reports will be made after the deadline. Applicants who apply for exemption from the examination of patent agency practice subjects should also apply within the above-mentioned time. After the name is successfully predicted, the IP Office of the test center will conduct a qualification review of the applicants. The time is from June 28 to July 30, 2021. The applicants should actively cooperate. If there are errors in the registration information, they should promptly revise and correct them. Applicants who have passed the qualification review shall pay the examination registration fee to the Intellectual Property Office of the selected examination center according to the prompts of the registration system. The deadline for online payment is 24:00 on August 3, 2021. After the payment is confirmed, the applicants are not allowed to change the test center. Applicants should log in to the registration system during the period from October 25 to November 7, 2021 to print out the admission ticket by themselves.
This year's Patent Attorney Qualification Examination will be held in 31 test center cities at the same time on November 6th and 7th. Applicants can choose a test center to take the test according to their own circumstances when registering. Among them, foreigners who work or study within the pilot areas of Beijing, Suzhou, Nanjing, and Guangzhou, and meet the conditions for foreigners in the pilot areas to take the patent agent qualification examination, can take the patent agent qualification examination. The examination adopts a computerized examination method. The examinee obtains patent legal knowledge, related legal knowledge and examination questions of patent agency practice subjects on the computer terminal, and answers all subjects on the computer terminal and submits the answer results.
