Four intellectual property protection centers in China (Beijing), China (Pudong), China (Nanjing), and China (Zhejiang) will undertake the pilot work. During the one-year pilot period, the priority review channel for patent reexamination invalidation cases will be opened, and patent invalidation will be carried out. As the key business expansion of the protection center, rapid right confirmation has been steadily advancing. In the early stage, a pilot evaluation report of utility model and design patent rights has been carried out in some centers. In the next step, the State Intellectual Property Office will further expand the business functions of the protection center, strengthen the protection capabilities of the entire chain, strengthen the construction of a compound talent team, and better support the creation of a good business environment and serve the high-quality development of the economy.
